Strettch Cloud is a cloud computing company, operating in Rwanda with the vision to expand across Africa, enabling businesses with digital operations to scale affordably across the continent while keeping their data local and compliant.
We are a team of innovators and engineers united by a strong belief that Africa’s digital future should be powered by African infrastructure, and a deep passion for making that a reality.
Our platform is used by technical teams and individuals like CTOs, DevOps Engineers, and Cloud Architects who decide which technology powers their company’s growth.
These people are marketing-averse. They are best convinced by technical proof, clean architecture, and honest trade-offs.
We are, therefore, looking for a technically proficient and articulate Evangelical Developer Advocate who will help us spread the word and drive as many technical teams as possible in Rwanda to adopt and benefit from Strettch Cloud services.
- Showcase Possibilities
- Build & Demo: Build real applications on Strettch Cloud and record short, engaging videos showing exactly how it works.
- Create Technical Content: Produce high-quality tutorials (e.g., "How to host a high-traffic app on Strettch Cloud"). You will create the content that engineers actually find useful.
- Video & Social Media: You will be the face of our technical content. You should be comfortable creating short-form videos (Reels/Shorts/TikTok style) and technical threads that grab attention.
- Expand our Reach
- Engage the Community (In person & Online): Ensure Strettch Cloud reaches as many developers and engineering teams as possible. Hang out where they are (Twitter/X, LinkedIn, Discord, Reddit) and be a helpful peer.
- Building in Public: Share our journey. Share the wins, the technical challenges, and the updates. We believe that authenticity builds trust.
- Internal Advocacy
- The User's Voice: You are the bridge. When you see users struggling to do something on the platform, you are the one who brings that feedback to the engineering team to fix it.
- Technical First: You have experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud. You understand Linux, APIs, and how the internet works.
- A Content Creator: You are comfortable putting yourself out there. You enjoy creating content, whether it's a blog post, a video, or a social media thread.
- A Storyteller: You can explain complex technical topics in a simple way.
- Self-Starter: You don't wait for permission to build a cool demo. If you see a new tool or framework, you immediately think, "How can I run this on Strettch Cloud?"
- Monthly Compensation: Net 500k – 2M RWF.
- Personal Growth: Work with a team that encourages you to stretch your limits and become the best version of yourself, both technically and professionally.
- Hybrid Flexibility: We value in-person collaboration but offer the flexibility to work remotely whenever the role allows.
- Lunch is on Us: Enjoy free, delicious meals whenever you’re at the office! :)
- Build the Future of Africa: Contribute to a vision of technological independence. By building our own infrastructure, we keep wealth within the African economy and create jobs for local talent.
